The first meeting

The first event was in July 2009 at Middlesex University's Archway campus in north London. The speaker was Prof Davina Allen from Cardiff School of Nursing and Midwifery, Cardiff University and the discussant was Prof Celia Davies from the Open University (and latterly the London School of Economics).
